Guest Speakers: Mark Justin Valek

Mark Justin Valek, a native of Austria, studied Business Administration with a focus on banking and finance at the Vienna University of Economics. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charter holder and a licensed options and futures trader at the Vienna Stock Exchange. Valek started his professional career in asset management at Raiffeisen Capital Management, where he worked for over ten years, ultimately as a fund manager specializing in inflation protection and alternative investments. In 2013, he co-founded Incrementum AG in the Principality of Liechtenstein, where he currently serves as a partner and portfolio manager, managing two investment strategies that combine gold and Bitcoin. Valek is also a co-founder of philoro EDELMETALLE, one of the fastest-growing bullion dealers in Europe, and the founder of Sound Money Capital AG, a Liechtenstein-based consulting firm focused on innovative sound money strategies. Together with Ronald-Peter Stöferle, he co-authors the annual In Gold We Trust Report, a widely recognized publication on gold, money, and macroeconomic trends worldwide. Moreover, he co-authored the book Austrian School for Investors, which introduces the principles of the Austrian School of Economics to modern investors, and also serves on the advisory board of Monetary Metals and AGAU.
