Gottfried von Haberler Conference 2014
The 10th Gottfried von Haberler-Conference 2014 took place on June 27, at University Liechtenstein in Vaduz. This years topic: “On Statesmanship and the Limits of State Action” (German: Staatskunst – Staatsaufgaben – Staatsausgaben). It was organized and hosted by ECAEF – European Center of Austrian Economics Foundation, in co-operation with University Liechtenstein and with the support of multiple local and international sponsors. Simultaneous German/English translation both ways had been provided. ECAEF-President H.S.H. Prince Michael of Liechtenstein did open the conference at 09:30am. It was divided into three sessions with two lectures each.
Session 1 (Staatskunst):

Session 2 (Staatsaufgaben):
“Der Staat als Schiedsrichter” by Michael Wohlgemuth (DE)
“Staat und Geld” by Thorsten Polleit (DE)
Session 3 (Staatsausgaben):
“Legitime Staatsausgaben” Michael von Prollius (DE)
“Can Anyone Rule Cyberspace?” John Perry Barlow (US)
The conference ended with a farewell cocktail and reception, hosted by H.S.H. Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein.
