Hardy Bouillon

 

Hardy Bouillon (D), a native of Germany, studied Philosophy and Art History at the universities of Albuquerque (USA), Oxford (GB), and Trier (D). He currently teaches political philosophy at the University of Trier, Germany. Multiple guest professorships have taken him to a range of European universities, including Frankfurt/M., Vienna, Salzburg or Prague. Professor Bouillon serves on the academic board of several institutes and is one of the leading European liberal philosophers. He was the former Head of Academic Affairs at the Centre for the New Europe (CNE) in Brussels. Bouillon is also director of "Public Partners", an agency for public relations, networking and business consultancy that, together with companies and think tanks, organize and host conferences, seminars and other events in Germany and throughout Europe. He the author and/or editor of numerous books and well over 150 academic articles.

His work has been translated into Chinese, English, German, Italian, Romanian, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Among his more recent books only his Libertarians and Liberalism, or Ordered Anarchy (2007) can be mentioned. His Wirtschaft, Ethik und Gerechtigkeit was translated into English as Business Ethics and the Austrian Tradition in Economics, his acclaimed Wählerische Selektionen was published in May 2018 and in 2020 and 2021 respectively he followed with his Gerechtes Glück and his Kritizistische
Wissenschaftsthorie.
