Andreas Ludwig

Andreas J. Ludwig, a native of Austria holds a graduate degrees in business and law from the University of Vienna and a Professional Management Degree from the Harvard Business School. Dr. Ludwig started his career as assistant to the CFO of Swarovski, America and was appointed Vice President Finance for the Daniel Swarovski Corporation AG, in Switzerland in 1991. From 1992 on Ludwig served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Zale Corporation, the world's largest jewelry retailer and lead this US company through its financial restructuring and Chapter 11 proceedings. In 1994, he became CEO of Tyrolit Industries (a part of the worldwide Swarovski group), headquartered near Innsbruck. Before assuming his current position as Chairman of the Board & CEO of the Zumtobel Group, the renowned lighting company, based in Dornbirn, Austria, in 2003, Ludwig was Managing Director of UBS Warburg in London, one of the worlds leading international investment banks.
